When you're in crisis, it’s not about fixing everything at once—it’s about stabilizing, breathing, and feeling safe enough to take the next step. I offer a calm, compassionate space to help you find ground beneath your feet when life feels unbearable or overwhelming.
Here’s how I support you in moments of emotional or psychological crisis:

  • Stabilize your nervous system and manage emotional overwhelm
We start with immediate grounding tools—helping you slow racing thoughts, regulate intense emotions, and reorient to the present. These techniques are practical, simple, and tailored to your body’s unique signals of distress.
  • Restore a sense of safety and containment
In crisis, everything can feel unsafe—including your own thoughts or body. I help you create internal and external safety anchors so you can begin to feel less alone and more held, even during chaotic moments.
  • Build short-term emotional resources
Before exploring deeper trauma, we focus on building emotional resilience through breath, self-soothing strategies, containment exercises, and visualizations that support stabilization and control.
  • Support decision-making and reduce reactive behaviour
Crisis often comes with impulsivity or collapse. Together, we explore what’s urgent vs. what’s important, so you can make choices with clarity and care rather than from fear or panic.
  • Begin gentle trauma-informed processing (only when ready)
Once you feel safe enough, we may begin to explore the root of your emotional pain using trauma-sensitive methods such as EMDR, parts work (IFS), or hypnosis. This only happens when you're ready and never rushed.
